Turkiye 2018 - part 1

#merhabaturkiye

Assalamualaikum and merhaba everyone!
The so long -awaited post has finally been published! (as if there's even any one of you waited for this). I knew my English writing skill has become rusty- and I wonder what language did I even master? Err.

So, the point of this post is to somehow give you guys an overview of how magnificently Turkiye has been during our visit in November 2018. Though, I do owe myself a few stories about Lasik surgery, Faiz's & Syahirah's convocation and AbahMama's trip to NZ. And I have to admit that procrastination is my most loyal friend-but why did you even? Huh.

I don't intend to cut the long story short, so like I've always write in the previous posts too, if this doesn't concerns you, you may just click on the X tab up there okay?

Alhamdulillah, for making this possible, thank you Allah. Initially, the WhatsApp group was made to plan a trip to Egypt, but things happened, and the dreams were buried long ago. To make up for the unfulfilled promise, we sat in multiple discussions, planning to explore what Istanbul, Fethiye, Cappadocia & Pamukkale have to offer. And to His Best plans, we finally managed to enjoy the beauty of His creations (which comes in package with lots and lots of mehnah dan tribulasi, eh?)

I'd like to present you guys chronologically, what we've been doing right before Foundation Block exam (of which I felt like I didn't do well huhu) ;) And, I do have our full itinerary in case you are interested to know the exact places we've been to, the transportation we've hopped on and etc.

31/10/18 -1/11/18
There's not much to be told about these 2 days, as it involved our journey from IXG to IST. One of the prominent memories would be the sight, cleanliness and great services at Muscat Airport. I'll definitely choose to have a connecting flight with Muscat as a transit!) It's super-duper efficient, musolla-equipped , and overall it's the best international airport I've been to.
Since, I was really excited for the trip, I remembered capturing pictures of the surroundings and everything even when the memory card is full with snapshots of the flight's wing, LOL

sedangkan hang pon tgh nagntuk tapi terpaksa tahan mata
The best part of the story is that, we initially planned to sleep in the musolla of istanbul Airport but due to some reasons, the musolla was locked. Thus, with heavy heads and sleepiness overload, we laid up the 'kain batik' and slept in front of musolla's door. We didn't wake up until it was time to check in for our fight to Denizli. Nani on the other hand, got no space to sleep, and decided to wash herself up, leaving us with the same outfits for three days ahah- padan muka :P

I hope that no one's going to misuse any of the pictures shared.

2/11/18 (PAMUKKALE)
The day started with a rush, what more when we slept so soundly that we're only left with +-45 minutes for wudu', solat & check in. But, He always made it possible despite our countless faults. Thank you Allah

but with little alterations in between

to Denizli we go

subhanallah, a captivating view indeed

Alhamdulillah, we've now landed safely at Denizli Airport and had to take a bus/van to Pamukkale. It was a one hour journey. In Pamukkale, we decided to do the tour by ourselves, and we did good eheh.(jimat duit ceq)

lepas dicuss mahai ngat, cancel ah pakcik

After a short discussion, we went up the hill to see the terraces and the Hierapolis for 50 TL.

After absorbing in the breathtaking view of the terraces, we took a break , just so we'll not end up in hypoglycemic state. Little did we know, that the next stop needs us to climb another steep hill. Ahooi, legs! You can do this

yay dah jumpa exit woohooo

We thought that it was the one, but the thought doesn't counts man! What counts is what you asked when you're not sure of anything, lol. So, we ended up in the wrong bus. Luckily, it was just a 4 TL ticket. A few kind-hearted uncles helped us to make our way back to the place we were.

ayran yg x disukai ramai, tapi ana okay je

The story of course doesn't end here. We did good for the second time, but Allah's plan is always the one which made it more meaningful and adventurous! We actually waited for the wrong bus, had to catch up the correct one with another bus, ahah. But, we're all good. (maybe emotionally some were not, but I was stable, so nvm haha)

Upon reaching Fethiye, another good man, called up an otogar to our first accommodation - Burak Apartment!

We had a nice chat, a nice shower, a nice dinner, and  a nice sleep after all those walking and climbing sessions. You did good legs, you did.

3/11/18 (FETHIYE)
A whole day was spent in Fethiye, a beautiful city with wonderful people. We met Mr Mustafa and his wife (our host) who were one of those people who made it even a better vacation. Thank you

The places we went to with the luxury car owned by the host includes: Saklikent National Park, Kaya Village (a Greek village), Oludeniz beach and a beautiful park near his house. He even sent us to Otogar Bus Station to catch our bus to Cappadocia. Oh, and it was 300 TL for the whole day trip. Quite expensive but it was worth it.

Oh and one more thing. We need another walking and climbing sessions to go through the canyon. We could reach the end of the path if we were equipped with a tour guide and a complete set of cloth to be changed into-since we actually need to swim to go to the other side. And we've already proceeded 2 km forward and had to make our way back for another 2 km more. What an experience!

We had our lunch before departing to Kaya Village & Oludeniz

And I think this post should be continued since I'm already sleepy and we are just at the 3rd day of the whole trip. Thank you for spending your time Alin , and you too readers :) Till the next post
