fuhhh

Assalamualaikum to all inhabitants of the Earth. (animals can't read this and reply, so nvm)

Current mood : Happy
Current hobby : Telling stories and listening to them
Current intention : Revising this block's syllabus

But currently, I'm writing this post. Okay, I also don't know where's this thing leads to.

Let me start with GMT 103. That was few months back but since I have my own rights in my own blog, so let meh. This block consists of first aid, medical ethics and nursing. It was much more interesting than previous blocks but was nothing compared to GMT 105.
We were enthusiastically learning while playing around with hope that the knowledge will be sustained longer . Uh, excuses

If you are observant enough, I don't really write much in my posts, and most of the time , there are pictures attached, so this blog is more like an album to me, where I put notes on insignificant moments so that when I read it in the future, I'll be reminiscing well

Next, I should tell you guys about 'boncits' photoshoot. To spice it up a little, we, Oddityx should have completed our photography session in a day. Unfortunately, I don't know if this is a fact or an exaggeration, but being a grandma to boncit family seems to have quite an effect on their immune system. It's more like ' boncit's grandma is weak, so her descendants are too'. And to be exact, our session was postponed because majority of bonciters were having symptoms of diarrhea. How loving He is to us, right guys?

So, here comes our happy-cheerful-noisy-overacting-big eater family photos :-

Boncit isn't the main topic for this post so 4 pictures should be enough.

Next on the list would be our moments in Shantai Old Children Home. This was one of our community medicine projects which taught us to be more organized, build up our communication skills and much more on educating us on how to love and care for the elders.
And  I can't deny that communication barrier is a subject of concern here, where most of the occupants can only converse in Kannada and Hindi. And it was a tad bit tough. But all in all, we managed to make use of the opportunity and survived, Alhamdulillah

Finally, we have come to the highlight of the post. Yay !! All praise to Allah, I am now officially 19 years old. Of course today isn't my birthday, nevertheless, I'd like to relay special gratitude to my dearest mama and abah for your everything. I need not mention your good deeds because they are uncountable, thus I'll always pray for our happiness, prosperity and success in life and hereafter. I am sorry for all my wrongdoings, carelessness, naughtiness. Do continue loving me as I am, correct me when I'm wrong, praised me when I'm good, praying for my wellbeing all the time. May Allah bless you <3

breaking history

Assalamualaikum and a very good day :)

I hope that this blog is as private as it was, though it is more possibly not now. But, I suppose that I've never intended it to be like a private and secretive diary. It's just that back then, this blog's presence wasn't publicised, so yeah

I HAD A WHOLE WEEK HOLIDAY, GUYS! A MUCH HISTORICAL W-E-E-K.

Because there's too much of events happening and I feel like writing, so bear with mehh.

> I had 4 teeth extraction ( and I bet some of you might not even know this)
> I had experienced being in a live Diwali celebration and parade (it was way too hectic and scary because there's too many men on street, and much thanks to our companion to Dr Vijay's clinic)
> We went to a one day vacation in AMBOLI (and still just a one day trip could make you feel poorer than before)

And to add up to these little events, I've broken my own history record, I HAD DIARRHEA , HAHA
> It was a mild diarrhea in the morning, so I wasn't bothered going to and fro  'ms toilet'
> It became worse, that the the 8th time I became close with 'ms toilet', the abdominal cramps showed no signs of subsiding
> And at last, I was brought to the hospital and was given an IV drip (did I get the term right?), (and it was my first time after 18 years of living, alhamdulillah)
> And from yesterday until this very moment, there's just too much concern from every corner of hostel, and I can't thank you enough, girls
> I ate a lot of rice porridge and I felt bloated now, do pray for me kay

JAZAKUMULLAH KHAIRAN KATHIRA <3

AND, AND, AND
Not to forget, to my dearest YANANANANA, I wish you all the best MO-ing in Hospital Gua Musang starting tomorrow. I still have a long way to go, to catch up with you and build a healthcare company or clinic or whatnot with faiz, syerah, ati , abang, hilmi, kak long, kak ziela, maryam and aryan and for more to come.

p/s: sending you guys lots and lots of hugs and kisses from yindia. missing every single beautiful souls in SHIRAZ family <3333
ni nenek time sihat, tapi gigi dah xde haha

As a reminder to myself and you,
Ibn Abbas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "There are two blessings in which many people incur loss. (They are) health and free time (for doing good)".

[Al-Bukhari]

of days

Assalamualaikum.

Out of so many things that taught me to become a better person, there are some I'd like to share with you guys.

I don't want to brag, but I don't think that the threat of my previous school teachers on "you guys have to be very independent in university life", "the lecturers aren't going to care about you", "you will have to work extra double triple hard to succeed and graduate from your future universities" are merely imaginary threats until now.

Why do I say so? The lecturers here are superbly dedicated and passionate and willing to pass all of their knowledge for the benefit of their students. Despite our differences, say our race, our beliefs, our language, they sincerely seem to have put those things aside. Alhamdulillah, Subhanallah , Allahuakbar.

Still lost in confusion, I started to question, what did I do to actually receive all this kindness? Oh Allah, You are being too nice though most of the times, I do things that You forbid me to, I lost concentration even when I'm facing You in prayers, I forget You,

I don't think I belong here, but I believe that He is trying to pull me closer to Him. By all means, He never leaves me. In the thought and hope to  change for the better, may He guide me through and
through and may He ease

tulisan arab surat albaqarah ayat 186

"Dan apabila hamba-hamba-Ku bertanya kepadamu tentang Aku, maka (jawablah), bahwasanya Aku adalah dekat. Aku mengabulkan permohonan orang yang berdoa apabila ia memohon kepada-Ku, maka hendaklah mereka itu memenuhi (segala perintah-Ku) dan hendaklah mereka beriman kepada-Ku, agar mereka selalu berada dalam kebenaran."

"And when My servants ask you (O Muhammad concerning Me, then answer them), I am indeed near (to them by My knowledge). I respond to the invocations of the supplicant when he calls on Me (without any mediator or intercessor). So let them obey Me and believe in Me, so that they may be led aright."

Fyi, this block is on first aid ,ethics and nursing. There's so many interesting things learnt so do look forward to my next post, okay ( I don't promise but I'll try)

4 rest days

Assalamualaikum readers :)

A so-called traveller I am, was able to explore the beauty of India. And alhamdulillah, my four days of holidays were well-spent insyaAllah.

Before anything else, you guys should know that in USM medical school, there would be numbers of PBL sessions along the way. Well, I don't know about other medical schools but these PBL sessions are very informative, problem based (of course) and in their finest way to introduce us to the real life cases.
Mind you, that presenting a case with such shallow knowledge in front of  honourable lecturers is the most nerve-wrecking moment. But, as time passes by you'll just realise that they are here to help. So, make mistakes and learn and that would make you remember better

Enough with these PBL stories, but oh yeah, all thanks to Him that He actually gifted me with the 'Boncits' to walk through this first two years of medical school. So, here I present :

>>>>> PBL BONCIT

And guess what guys,, though I am here in India for only a month, this very outstandingly dedicated determined individuals that yearn excellence (a.k.a ODDITYX) actually planned a  trip for the batch, woohoo
And it's a trip to GOAAAAAAAA

Goa is another beautiful tourist spot but the journey to get there isn't that enjoyable. But above all, I didnt encounter any problems due to motion sickness and for that I'm grateful.
And, since I don't intend to write much, plus the clock is already pass midnight, and Bihah is already sleeping, I think that I should just end it here. For all the memories created, Alhamdulillah and for more to come, may it be blessed.

Hey, it's India!

Assalamualaikum readers!!!

It sounds like I'm excited, but actually I am just too excited to be able to write this guys, So, do appreciate this entry, will you?

To be honest, my life as a medical student isn't as hectic as it should be. Maybe because the fact is I just entered medical school, and there's not much to catch up. And most likely because it started just two weeks ago, which was not that long.

The thing here is, in India you only have Sundays as your weekend, regardless being primary school students, government workers or the "moshis". You only have ONE OFF DAY. But, do not think negatively. The best part of it is you get quite an ample time between classes which is much needed by me, myself.

Of course, it isn't my first time being away from home and beloved family like I am right now. Likewise, it is not my first time living independently as a student. However, I can't deny the fact that I really miss them no matter where they are. And I prayed to Him to guard and protect them, as He always did. And may He grant us beautiful things, in and out.

BELAGAVI/BELGAUM :

Now, let me get you back to our topic. Hey, it's India! The bold word is the name of city I'm currently living in. It's a beautiful city with such green sceneries, wonderful 'Texas', colourful Maruti Ghalli, and of course many more places that are yet to be explored.

And of course, I'll share some of the pictures here, so you get a better picture of Belgaum and my campus. It really is beautiful and I am not making up a fairytale here okay. I present you :-

Sorry it's not much, and don't worry, I'm doing well here. :))))))))

Assalamualaikum wbt.
