SHIRAZ : SMS

Before I begin, I bet that this musn't be the only post about SMS, but who cares?

Assalamualaikum wbt, readers. Thank you for stopping by though this writings isn't comparable to others. Always a #greenieauthor

On 21st of April 2018, who would have thought that despite being both Malaysian, I've never met him in Malaysia, but Alhamdulillah we were gathered in a motivational talk here in Belgaum. Thank you KULN India for making it possible. And thank you to you too, Dato' Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor for spending your time with us.

So, what's with the talk? Was it inspiring?

Subhanallah, his life journey, his success, his spirit and attitude were and are collectively encouraging. Not to say his confidence level- it was surprisingly remarkable! When he told us about his training in order to become an astronaut, it was unbelievably difficult- physically & mentally. Yet, he emphasised on pushing ourselves to the limit and to not be shy for getting what you aim for.

- Be bolder than the boldest

- Dreams are possible

- Think big, think wide

- Move fast, act fast

- Visualise yourself in the future, and make it real

- Always try new things

- Be positive at all times
- Fear none but Allah

And the most important advice would be :

- Finish & complete your MD successfully :) InsyaAllah

No one said medicine is going to be easy. He made it a point too yesterday. But he also told us that it is never an impossible journey, because always, always with hard work, dua and His permission, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE

I was planning to capture a selfie with you Dr, but to no avail. And since Belgaum is kind of hot yesterday, I didn't manage to wait any longer for you to come out of that auditorium, huhu. You've got a huge number of fans, and I guess I'll just keep those important moments in my memory. Till we meet again, Dr.
