Reserved

Assalamualaikum. I am writing down my thoughts just so my mind won't be that occupied. At times, writing heals. And most of the times, writing satisfies me.

I am currently in second week of Paediatric posting and am having quite a tiring week but I had fun, so we have a compensatory mechanism there :)
However, the main focus of my writing today is about people's thoughts. I've had a few conversations with different individuals but I had to say that I quite dislike the opinions or thoughts made on basis of feelings or emotions. I mean we don't do decisions based on what we feel. Life would be really messy if we do that. And maybe that is why I chose to be reserved, because after reflecting on what I do every day, I always feel glad of not saying the things that I felt earlier. And alhamdulillah, this exact characteristic had helped me through a lot of things.

Being a normal human being, with a plus point of being a woman, we could have experienced thousands of feelings in a matter of seconds. But that doesn't mean that we could voice it out whenever we want to.

I always remind myself that people around me, have always do their best to accept me for who I am what more with so many flaws. The second thing is, we certainly cannot ask someone to think and act like we want them to because even our fingerprints are individualised, so is our characters. And it would be uninteresting if I am to meet someone who think, act, talk, dress just like me. Don't you think so too?

So, my point is, always always always be the one who accept our friends for who they are eventhough we'll eventually come to a point where tolerance is no longer our companion. We could take a break from the relationship if it really hurts us inside, but that is the least that we could do.
If you think that you've had enough, look at your own hearts. There must be sth blocking you to see what's good in that particular person you have an issue with. Most importantly, pray for His guidance as He knows it all.

And, we can never survive alone. Treat the community around you like they should be treated. What goes around comes around, remember? A team is a team- so don't act like a lone ranger.

Footnote : If we are having a conversation, a nod doesn't always mean that I agree to your point of view. I don't know about you guys, but I have learnt my life lesson well, kot? Everytime I try to voice out what I think, they don't seem to be appreciating what I say. And usually they think that they're right and the other party is at fault. What I do now is, listen and include myself in the conversation only if they are willing to hear me before this. If they had rejected my opinions/thoughts bluntly in the past, I'm sorry, but I won't say anything in the future. I'll just act like you're right because that's what you want, right?
I am reserved. And I chose to be one. I had to take care of my feelings too, right? (takkan nak minta tolong korang jagakan pula). I'd rather nod than being rejected bluntly. Sorry not sorry?
pesanan khidmat masyarakat :
kalau nak tolak pendapat orang,
tolaklah dengan berhemah, kalau tolak bulat-bulat,
baik takyah minta pendapat,
bincang je dlm kepala, mudah kan?
